High Grade Gold and Silver Quartz ore from the Frontino Gold Belt in Segovia Antioquia Colombia. The mine has been in production since 2009 and has produced ore graded from 9 grams AU per ton to 117 grams AU per ton. The silver content is extremely high as the Galena and silver are visible to the naked eye. The gold ranges from microscopic to very visible to the eye dependent on the piece.
These are select pieces brought as samples directly from the mine in Colombia. The primary picture shows the ore in its natural state as it is being extracted from the mine.
The pieces are to be used as geology samples, ornaments for a curio cabinet, desk paperweights or even a novelty piece for the special person in your life.
